When did you know you wanted to do voice overs?

I’ve been a working actor for most of my life.  I’m a singer and dancer and have

performed for years in film and on stage.  Commercials and voice overs have

been a large part of my career and when I became a Mom voice over provided

the most flexible schedule for me so I could be with my family, and still scratch

my itch to keep performing.  I love that I can still be a working actor and be there

for my kids.  Voice over lets me have it all!

Do you have a name for your microphone?

Gustav!  And it must be said with a commanding voice in a thick European

accent.  He’s the boss and thinks he is in charge, (but I wear the real pants in the

relationship.)

How do you take care of your voice?

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!  But that’s a general rule of life anyway, regardless of

a voice career.  It’s good for my figure and my skin and promotes general well being!

Do you do any type of vocal warm ups?

I find that when warming up there is one general rule.  If you aren’t making a total

fool of yourself with crazy faces and weird noises, then you aren’t doing it right.  I

especially like to do vocal exercises in the car.  I find it provides much needed

entertainment for those stuck in the NJ traffic around me. I do what I can to give

back to community.

Best part about being an InternetJock?

InternetJock has been amazing for me.  I get to make my own schedule and still do other things without sacrificing my passion for my career and acting.

Worst case scenario if you ever lost the ability to speak what would you pursue as a career?
